Welcome to Crosspoint!
We desire to see lives changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe this will happen by us coming alongside each other and devoting our lives to fulfill the Great Commandment and Great Commission:
We desire to see lives changed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe this will happen by us coming alongside each other and devoting our lives to fulfill the Great Commandment and Great Commission:
THE GREAT COMMANDMENT
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And he (Jesus) said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:36-39

THE GREAT COMMISSION
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

In order to do our part in living out the Great Commandment and Great Commission, we live out our faith where we live, work, and play with grace-driven effort as we spread the gospel and make disciples who make disciples.
What is the gospel?
Here’s a short and simple explanation of the gospel: The gospel is the good news that God sent his one and only Son, Jesus, to live a perfect, holy life and to die the death that we deserved because of our sin (Romans 3:23). After his death on the cross, Jesus resurrected from the dead so that we would know that God alone has the power and authority over sin and death and has made a way for us to be reconciled to God. We must put our faith in Jesus alone to save us from our sin (Ephesians 2:8-9). We believe that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
If you have questions about this, we’d love to connect with you.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Statement of Faith
Our Statement of Faith at Crosspoint Baptist is based on the Holy Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God. We unite ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation with people who are not believers. We believe that baptism and the Lord’s Supper are the two ordinances commanded by Jesus Christ to implement among our body.
Scripture: The Scripture is the unique, full and final authority on all matters of faith and practice. We believe that the Bible was written by divinely inspired men and is God’s revelation of Himself and His will to man. The Bible in its entirety is the Word of God, and as such is wholly true in everything it affirms. (Acts 2:41-42, II Timothy 3:16-17, II Peter 1:20-21, Psalm 18:30, 119:2)
God: We believe that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, The Son (Jesus Christ) and The Holy Spirit. These three persons are one God, and worthy of precisely the same confidence, obedience and worship. (Matthew 28:18-19, Mark 12:29, John 1:14, Acts 5:3-4)
We believe that God, by His sovereign choice and His love for mankind, sent Jesus into the world to bring people back into fellowship with Him through regeneration. Regeneration is a change of the heart, accomplished by the Holy Spirit, who gives life to those dead in trespasses and sins, enlightening their minds to understand the word of God, and renewing their whole nature. This salvation, with its forgiveness of sin, is a gift available to all who believe. (John 3:16)
Crosspoint enjoys a plethora of cultural, social and even denominational backgrounds. We embrace and value our diversity as we find unity in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Crosspoint Baptist Church is a member church of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). The SBC adopted a doctrinal statement, The Baptist Faith and Message, which reflects the core beliefs of Crosspoint.
