Lead Pastor For over 20 years, I have been pouring my life into making disciples who make disciples through the local church. I joined the staff of Crosspoint in July 2020. My wife, Shelley, and I have 3 sons, Ethan, Gideon, and Corban. Before coming to Crosspoint, we were living in East Asia for 3 years. Prior to that, I was the College Pastor at First Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama for 17 years. Shelley and I are graduates of the University of Alabama. I also have a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports with my family and having good conversations over good food with a glass of sweet tea. |

Student Pastor Sumter has been home for my entire life, and God called me into student ministry in 2017. I have had the privilege to serve here at Crosspoint since September of 2019. I seek to serve God and grow His kingdom by leading students here at Crosspoint, with the goal of glorifying God as often as we can. I am married to my wife, Carly, who is also plugged in to our student ministry here. I love video games, tennis, the USC Gamecocks, but more importantly, serving the young people here at Crosspoint! |

Jason Troutman
Setup & Maintenance Originally from Monticello, GA, I moved to Sumter in 2002 after I felt the Lord telling me to move. With no idea of where to find a job, I received a call from Alice Drive Baptist Church to fill in on weekends and it soon became a full time job doing maintenance and setup. Shortly after, I met my wife Julie and we were married. In 2009, I began working part-time at Crosspoint doing the same job. When we get a break, Julie and I enjoy traveling, watching NASCAR or catching a baseball game. |
