Student Ministry
In the CBC Student Ministry our purpose is to love Junior High and Senior High students into and through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our vision is to strengthen relationships in the family, the church body, and community. We seek to live authentic lives as we love God, love others, and serve.
We encourage our students and the adults involved in leading students to be "incarnational". Knowing that as we go about our day we are presenting Christ to a lost world; we strive to be "God with skin on".
1 Thessalonians 1:5b-6(MSG) "You paid careful attention to the way we lived among you, and determined to live that way yourselves. In imitating us, you imitated the master."
On Sunday mornings we have Sunday School at 9:15am & 10:30am. Currently we are using the Orange strategy.
Sunday nights at CBC we have Student Worship where kids 6th-12th grade can come together for a worship experience that is designed specifically for them with music, games, skits, and speaking.
Wednesday nights we meet together at 6:15 pm for a night of missions emphasis. During this time we have a Bible study focusing on the Christian's call to missions and have few mission projects like visiting nursing homes and helping the needy. This is an opportunity for students to dig deeper in God's Word and cultivate lasting positive relationships with friends their age.
